About your teacher

 Name:  Kimberly Williams
Hometown: Thomasville, GA.

About Me:
I am the daughter of Shanta' Larkins and the late Michael Williams. I was born and raised right here in Thomasville, GA! I stayed here until I went to college at Valdosta State University. I have a daughter, Faith, who is almost 7 and starting first grade this year!!! I also have two birds (parakeets) named Sprite and Skye, a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, named Cutie Pie AND an orange tabby cat named Butterscotch! I am no stranger to Harper Elementary because I attended school here when I was a child. It is a wonderful feeling to be back in my hometown and to be able to give back to a community from which I came and that helped to mold me into the person I am today. I look forward to working closely with you and your child this school year. I believe in parent-teacher teams, and want you to be involved in every aspect of your child's learning...believe me it makes a world of difference. Let's have an awesome year!

Education

Picture
I am a graduate of Thomasville High School, class of 2002.
I have Bachelors of Fine Arts in Mass Media Communications from Valdosta State University. I graduated Cum Laude.
I  have a Bachelors of Science in Education from Valdosta State University. Again, I graduated with honors, Cum Laude.
I also have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: Accomplished Teaching, again from VSU.
I am gifted endorsed/certified. This means if your child has needs beyond the standard third grade curriculum, I am trained and able to meet his or her needs :)

Experience
